Having always enjoyed painting and drawing, I fell in love with photography and moving images during a year spent discovering film and photography at the University of California. Several years on, having worked in the UK film industry as a camera assistant and studied cinematography at the UK's National Film and Television School, I now work as a cinematographer shooting fiction, documentary and commercials in the UK and further afield. My work has been screened in international festivals including Berlin, Clermont-Ferrand and Sao Paulo, and broadcast on national television to critical acclaim. I love this work, and always enjoy the opportunity to create exciting images that tell interesting stories.
In 2010 I shot 2nd Unit on Pathe's feature Africa United directed by Debs Paterson. And my first feature film Blooded was released in 2011 in UK cinemas receiving much praise for its cinematography.
